New markets, markets we call emerging markets, report increasingly greater economic growth. D&B is now introducing “EMC in focus” which this month proudly presents three major additions.
EMC now covers more than 13 million companies
D&B has long recognized that access to reliable and updated information about companies in emerging markets is vital when handling credit risks in the best way. Information is gathered by a specialist team that we call the emerging market center (EMC), which today has information on more than 13 million companies. - Launch of a new D&B Business Information Report with a new layout.
- Launch of a new Comprehensive Report in mid-May 2010. This report will be the market’s most extensive and detailed report.
New layout for EMC reports
The new layout created for reports from EMC is more user-friendly and easy to read, with important information clearly presented to facilitate quick and effective decisions.

- Graphs and colors that provide a better overview
- Navigation features in the report enables you to access the chapter you want more quickly.

New extended EMC report with financial statements for up to six years
In order to make it easier to handle new and existing customer risks, D&B will launch a fully expanded Comprehensive Report for EMC countries mid-May. This will be the market’s most detailed, all-inclusive report comprising all available data in D&B’s databases. Company data will be presented in color and diagrams with navigation features and better options to save and print.
In addition to the contents of a standard report, the Comprehensive Report will show:
- Financial summary for up to six years
- Financial statements for up to six years
- Graphs illustrating sales, assets, operating capital and equity
The above is contingent on the company submitting its financial statements in accordance with each country’s legislation. If financial statements have not been turned in, it will not be possible to order a Comprehensive Report.
